The Sun has just entered its drowning point in Cancer, this occurs when a planet transits the last three degrees of a water sign and the first three degrees of a fire sign. This full Moon will be especially strong as it is a Super Moon, meaning it is closer to the earth and will appear bigger and brighter in the sky. This is first of four consecutive Super Moons. It is also a Blue Moon, meaning it is the third full Moon in a season that has four full Moons. This is rare as seasons usually have three full Moons. This combination of Super Moon and Blue Moon happens once average once every ten years.
