Mars has just left its sign of exaltation and entered Aquarius where it joins Venus and Saturn. Mars and Saturn do not get along, as Mars is youthful, active, and fiery and Saturn is old, full of inertia, and cold. They are both malefic, but of opposite temperaments. Venus will help mitigate this somewhat as Saturn and Venus are friends, and Mars and Venus are neutral towards each other. Venus can play a diplomatic role between these two enemies. This could bring an opportunity to heal internal conflict between these two energies by finding a passion or a project that both Martian and Saturnian energies can participate in and enjoy.
This move of Mars into Aquarius means that Mars will also be aspecting the eclipse in Virgo on March 25th. This is the lunar eclipse, involving Ketu. Mars and Ketu have a similar energy, which will make this eclipse feel particularly harsh. Both of these planets have an ascetic energy, so it might be wise to sacrifice something voluntarily to appease these energies. As it is in Virgo it may be a good idea to give up a bad habit for the sake of health or donate to charity, because this sign can be an indicator of health problems and debts or fines. While Mars can be appeased, it is rare that Ketu can, so you may lose something or discover a health problem despite these efforts.
This shift of Mars into Aquarius will be especially difficult for those with a natal Moon in Aquarius. On top of already suffering through Sade Sati, Mars will add anger and frustration and create and emotional pressure cooker. Habits like exercise, meditation, and yoga will be important in keeping such people calm and prevent lashing out in anger. Venus will not be of much help here as Venus is an enemy of the Moon.
To understand how these transits affect you an individual analysis is required. The interaction between your natal chart and the transits of the planets is always very individual and personal. Contact me for a reading at https://www.bluephurba.com
