Mercury went retrograde this week in Sagittarius and will go direct on January 18, five days before Mars goes direct in Taurus. Mars is aspecting Mercury from Taurus. Mars is indirectly influenced by Saturn, as Mars is in a sign ruled by Venus and Venus is in Capricorn ruled by Saturn. Mercury is in Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter is in its own sign of Pisces. Saturn is also aspecting Jupiter from Capricorn. So there a currently two retrograde planets being indirectly influence by Saturn.
This indicates a three-week period when your actions could easily be misunderstood and communications and even apologies for your actions could go disastrously wrong. This could lead to a loss of or collapse of structure indicated by Saturn, this could manifest in a loss of a job, for example. However, as Saturn and Jupiter are in their own signs it will most likely work out for your benefit in the end. The loss of something could make way for a surprising opportunity or new job. It is also likely that these retrograde planets just cause a stressful few week without the collapse of important structure in your life. Either way it is wise to take this opportunity to reevaluate your actions and communications in relation to the structures in your life. It is a good time to ask yourself if you are contributing to or buildings the structures you want to build. It might be time to change course.
