Mercury is in its Gandanta or drowning point, this occurs when a planet is in the last three degrees of a water sign and the first three degrees of a fire sign. During this period the influence of the planet largely disappears from the chart. It is also a time when you can reset your relationship with a planet. This is especially true when a planet is moving from Pisces to Aries, which Mercury currently is, as these are the last and first signs of the Zodiac. This transit is somewhat of a death and rebirth of a planet.

This week Jupiter will move from Taurus to Gemini. Jupiter only changes signs once a year. When Jupiter enters Gemini, it will end the change of signs between Venus and Jupiter. Jupiter will be in a weaker position in part because it is no longer in a sign ruled by exalted Venus. It will be instead in a sign that is ruled Mercury and Mercury will be in Aries ruled by Mars and Mars will be in its sign of debilitation, Cancer.

Gemini is a very dynamic sign, being a dual Air sign. It also has within it the Nakshatra of Ardra, which is ruled by Shiva the Destroyer. Jupiter in Taurus indicated stability and growth in wealth. Jupiter in Gemini instability and a growth in confusion that paradoxically contains a growth in knowledge. You will know more but understand less likely because everything is changing so fast. In another year Jupiter will exit Gemini and enter Cancer, its sign of exaltation.

To understand how these transits affect you an individual analysis is required. The interaction between your natal chart and the transits of the planets is always very individual and personal. Contact me for a reading at https://www.bluephurba.com .
