Mercury retrograde August 5th to the 28th

      Mercury will go retrograde this week on Monday, August 5th, in the sign of Leo. Mercury will remain retrograde until August 28th. It will be joined in this sign by Venus and both planets will be aspected by a retrograde Saturn in Aquarius. Leo is ruled by the Sun and the Sun is in Cancer ruled by the Moon. As the Moon changing signs ever two- and one-half days, these planets will inhabit a constantly shifting unstable environment. Saturn is a friend of both Mercury and Venus, which makes the result more likely to be positive, but the path there will be chaotic.

     Both long- and short-term plans will have to be reevaluated. There will be a breakdown in communication and grounding structures and routines. Mars is also aspecting these planets in Leo from the Venus ruled sign of Taurus. This indicates you will be forced to make quick decisions due to the constantly shifting environment and will have the tendency to be impulsive in your actions and will make mistakes.
