On Monday we had a super full Moon in Sagittarius. A super full Moon happens when the Moon comes significantly closer to the earth during a full Moon and thus appears larger and brighter. This generally intensifies emotions and exaggerates both psychological flaws and positive aspects of the personality. This particular Moon is exceptionally rare as it is happening in the Jupiter ruled sign of Sagittarius while being aspected by Jupiter from Aries.
The ruler of Aries, Mars, is in its Gandanta or “drowning position”. This is a period where the influence of Mars is largely removed from the chart. It is a time of transformation for the planet and the things it indicates in life, similar to a death and rebirth. When Mars is reborn at three degrees of Aries it will be aspected by Jupiter. Venus is also in its drowning position. However, shortly after it exits its drowning position it will go retrograde. The retrograde will start on July 22nd and then Venus will pass back through its drowning position. The next three weeks possess the potential for tremendous transformation.
As Saturn and Venus are going to be retrograde and Mars will a have a symbolic rebirth, it is a time when structures, long term habits, and long-term relationships will be reevaluated. Mars will help one take the necessary action to transform these situations. As Jupiter is sharing Aries with Rahu, there is a chaotic and unpredictable element to this time. As the Moon is especially strong this will be an emotionally intense time and you are likely to feel out of control. The position of Mars and Jupiter indicate that the best way to approach this time it to take action with faith that when the chaos subsides an improved order will arise.
To understand how these transits affect you an individual analysis is required. The interaction between your natal chart and the transits of the planets is always very individual and personal. Contact me for a reading at https://www.bluephurba.com .
