The Sun starts drowning

On Monday the Sun will move into its Gandata or “drowning” point between Cancer and Leo and it will be in this position for 6 days. Venus will exit its “drowning” point in one day, as it continues its retrograde motion into Cancer. Mars and Mercury are in Leo ruled by the Sun. The Sun’s influences on the chart and the effects of the sign it rules will temporarily disappear as it transits through its drowning point. At this time, the chart will be dominated by the Moon, a retrograde Saturn in Aquarius, a retrograde Venus in Cancer, and Ketu transiting Venus ruled Libra.

This indicated a six-day period of emotional and relational chaos and loss. Most attempts at communication and action to rectify situations will be unheard, run up against impenetrable obstacles, or fail. It is best to remain aware of this and not frustrate yourself or make things worse. This is a period when inaction is the best action. Turning inward, reflecting and working on emotional issues and habits will be a good use of time during these six days, and it will bear fruit.

At the end of these six days, starting on Monday, the Sun will be in its own sign of Leo and be aspected by a strong Jupiter in Aries. This will stabilize things and end the dominance that the Moon has had on the chart for the last month. Mars will have moved to Virgo at this time; however, this new placement of planets is still more favorable for action and efforts towards goals will get more traction. Mercury will go retrograde two days after this on August 23rd. When this happens Saturn, Venus, and Mercury will be retrograde, which will continue to create obstacles and problem for relationships, communication, travel, and technology.

To understand how these transits affect you an individual analysis is required. The interaction between your natal chart and the transits of the planets is always very individual and personal. Contact me for a reading at https://www.bluephurba.com .
