Venus Enters Exaltation

Writer's picture: Domenic FalconeDomenic Falcone

Venus has just entered Pisces, its sign of exaltation, where it joins Rahu. Venus in exaltation can bring about too much of a good thing. It tends to support overindulgence in luxury and pleasure, such as overeating, drugs, sex, and sloth. It can also be a highly creative time. It can lead to spiritual experience, powerful dreams, and the experience of divine love. However, as it is joined by Rahu this positive side of Venus is unlikely to manifest. Rahu will push events to extremes of indulgence, antisocial, and risky behaviors.

We just had the New Moon in Capricorn where the Moon joined the Sun and Venus. The next ten days will be a difficult transit for the Moon. Excepting Venus, all the planets from Aquarius through Gemini are malefic, retrograde, or malefic and retrograde. This will be especially true for the USA as it is experiencing it Sade Sati and there are four planets in Gemini in its natal chart where retrograde Mars is now transiting. Sade Sati means for the next five days the Moon will feel double the pressure of Saturn for the USA. This leads to a sense of hopelessness, constriction, and stagnation.

It is important during this period not to escape into overindulgence in alcohol, food, or drugs as the transit of Rahu with Venus increases the likelihood of overdose, death, or serious consequences. During this period avoid extremes and excessive risks and manage your emotion in a healthy way. If you have a creative outlet or spiritual practice this a good way to deal with these emotions and you may find unusual success or insights in these areas.

To understand how these transits affect you an individual analysis is required. The interaction between your natal chart and the transits of the planets is always very individual and personal. Contact me for a reading at https://www.bluephurba.com .
