Venus enters Taurus

Venus moved into its own sign of Taurus, where it joins Jupiter and the Sun. This ends Jupiter’s indirect rule over the signs of Pisces, Aries, and Taurus. However, Mercury, in Aries, is indirectly under the rule of Venus as Aries is ruled by Mars, and Mars is in Pisces ruled by Jupiter, and Jupiter is in Taurus ruled by Venus. There is a lot of energy focused on this Mercery. Saturn is aspecting it from its own sign of Aquarius. Mercury and Saturn are friends, so this should bring largely positive results.

However, the ruler of Aries is in Pisces, and it is with in three degrees of Rahu.  Mercury in turn rules Virgo, where Ketu is placed. Ketu is always opposite Rahu, so Ketu is aspecting both Mars and Rahu. Being in a Mercury ruled sign means Ketu indirectly under the rulership of Venus as well. Pisces, Aries, and Taurus are the twelfth, first, and second sings of the zodiac respectively. Add the fact that Venus in Taurus indirectly rules the planets in these signs, and it indicates the end of old relationships, passions, diet, values, hobbies, and the beginning of new ones. The involvement of the first house may indicate a challenge or radical change to your self-image.

As Mercury is under the influence of Saturn, Mars, and Rahu the end of these things are likely to come suddenly and harshly. The fact that the Sun, Venus, and Jupiter are all in the lunar house of Kritika increases the cutting or burning energy of this moment. This will likely manifest as something like burning bridges literally and/or figuratively, so that the only option is to move forward in a new direction.

To understand how these transits affect you an individual analysis is required. The interaction between your natal chart and the transits of the planets is always very individual and personal. Contact me for a reading at .
