Today Venus left Virgo, its sign of debilitation, and entered Libra. Venus owns the sign of Libra and its transit is currently opposite a retrograde Jupiter in Aries. This should help stabilize and resolve recent conflicts in relationships, especially one on one relationships or romantic ones. On December 4, Jupiter will go direct in Aries. Mercury is currently in Jupiter ruled Sagittarius and is being aspected by a retrograde Jupiter. Mercury will go retrograde in Sagittarius on December 13th.
Nearly every planet that can be retrograde has been retrograde in the last four months. This has caused frustration and reevaluation in most areas of life for most people. This has been a particularly difficult period of time, especially for those with a natal Moon in Capricorn, Aquarius, or Pisces due to the transit of Saturn. However, after Mercury goes direct on January 2nd, we will have six months without retrograde planets; except for Rahu and Ketu, which are always retrograde.
During the last few days of Jupiter retrograde hopes, long term plans, and values will be in question. It is likely these things are being revaluated, especially with Mercury in a Jupiter ruled sign. The fact that Jupiter is in Aries, a sign ruled by Mars, and that Mars is in Scorpio adds to the depth and emotional intensity of this process. This is a moment of true introspection. After Jupiter goes direct you will feel more clarity on these issues, but will still have trouble articulating and communicating the conclusions you have come to until after Mercury goes direct on January 2nd.
The past half year has been a time of frustration and introspection on why your actions do not seem to get traction. At the beginning of the New Year, we should have at least a few months of relative stability, forward progress, and no retrograde planets.
