If one overlays the chart of the modern Russian nation on top of the chart of the current sky, you will find the current position of the planets form an extremely strong Raja Yoga in Russia’s 7th house in the sign of Capricorn. A Raja yoga is formed when the ruler of a trine (houses 1, 5, and 9) meet in an angle (houses 1, 4, 7, and 10). Raja Yoga translates as the yoga or conjunction of kings and is said to give one the power of a king or to make one a king. This conjunction is formed by an exalted Mars, Saturn in its own house, and Venus. These are also conjunct with the natal Saturn of the chart of Russia, making this conjunction even stronger. This is even more intense because all of this is happening within a Kala Sarpa Yoga, the yoga of the serpent, which I discussed in a previous post.
When one lays Putin’s natal chart on top of these charts, it is clear that this war was nearly unavoidable for him or from his perspective. This is in large part because he has his natal Rahu in Capricorn, the sign in which this Raja Yoga is happening. Rahu is a planet of karma and it is very difficult to alter its influence or effect, it is a planet of fate, but also of violence explosions, poisons, and sudden radical change. There is an unbelievable amount of energy in the sign of Capricorn when these three charts are combined. Capricorn is the fourth house of Putin’s natal chart, the house of the mother, the heart, emotions, and the homeland. He sees this war as necessary to protect his homeland in a deep emotional way and will fight it to the bitter end.
Within five weeks Russia will win this war and take some if not all of Ukrainian territory into its nation, probably around April 5 when Mars passes Saturn. However, these gains may not last as by April 15th Rahu and Ketu will change signs and Ketu will move into Vladimir Putin’s 1st house. It is as if the karma he is creating with Rahu in his 4th house of Capricorn will deliver its results to his first house of Libra. In his natal Venus is in his 1st house and Venus rules his 1st and 8th house. Ketu is a planet of loss, death, and the results of karma among other things. The 8th house is a house of death and the 1st house is the house of the body and the self. This looks more like a threat to his life more than a loss of territory he may have gained. This threat is highest from April 15th to May 30th as during this time Mars will leave its sign of exaltation, Rahu and Ketu will change signs, and the Kala Sarpa Yoga will end.
